1909074046755390646Hey, I’m Brian Rodgers and my journey in radio began on March 17, 1984 at the impressionable age of 16 in the tiny town of Cut Bank, Montana. I loved music and the idea of getting paid to share the music I was listening to already was a dream come true! I learned enough in high school to get me to the #1 music station in Bozeman. After drinking from a fire hose from June of 1986 to July of 1987, I moved back home and helped my little FM station for a couple years until 98mph winds tore up our broadcasting tower, rendering the station “dark.”

So, I moved to Boise in May of 1990 and since then, I’ve worked up and down the FM dial in the country, classic rock and “oldies” formats. I spent time as a sideline reporter for Boise State football games. I’ve rubbed elbows with some of the biggest musical stars out there from Johnny Cash and Reba McEntire…to REO Speedwagon and Eddie Money. It has been an incredible ride that has blessed me with so many wonderful stories and memories. What has kept me in this crazy business for 40+ years?  At the end of the day – it’s all about the music…and, the people who tune in to listen to that music. Thank YOU for taking me along during your drive home every weekday from 2:00 to 6:00pm on 101.5 KOOL-FM!
